With the recent storm on the Gold Coast, this family from Tallai were caught out with large branches and debris flying across their property.
Way to close to their house and pool for their peace of mind.
They called us to evaluate the safety aspect of the many Eucalyptus Trees that they have scattered across their property. With the onset of the storm season approaching, they wanted to be pro-active ensuring the whole property was safe.
The Eucalyptus dominate our landscapes from the bush to our backyard, parks and pavements. They can grow in height from 10m to 60m. As Native and stunning as they are, they can cause problems. The trees have shallow roots which can cause other issues for homeowners. Since the tree’s lateral roots spread up to 100 feet out, they can grow into ditches, plumbing pipes and septic tanks, damaging and cracking them.
On this occasion, the owners decided to have Tree Essence remove 13 of their Eucalypt trees. We were able to set up all our equipment on-site for the entire process of removing the trees and then chipping up the timber. The owners were extremely happy that timber was recycled and used for the gardens.
